Hey Lish, JJ Here! Totally true, these are definitely common interview questions. As a previous hiring manager, it is important to find out how candidates perform when situations are less than ideal. It is also useful to know how self-aware candidates are if they are able to see a potential flaw and show a commitment to working on it. One tip I will give, when answering the question about weaknesses, it is very common for people to try to find weaknesses that can also be seen as strengths... Hiring managers can see right through this so people should try not to fall into this trap, it's seen as a cop-out and tends to show avoidance rather than using your critical thinking to actually give an authentic answer.
