The University of Iowa horticulture dept said as long as you have visible green grass showing, your grass will not suffocate and will benefit from mulched leaves SO I put the mulching plug on and grind them puppies up. It takes a mighty load of leaves to choke out your lawn. Some folks have that many leaves but it takes a significant amount AND it's free fertilizer. Having said that, on the golf course, we gotta blow them off so people can find their balls. Then we mulch in up with a vacuum and dump them in the deep where nobody but us workers know or go.
