It's obviously for an entire rework of the game. Instead of planets in space, the game map is now 100% water and shifts to a microscopic level. You build viruses and various organisms to spread your bacterial empires to new locations like plants, man made surfaces, animals, all in one giant body of water, like a galaxy.
