My parents sold the family home, and about a month later, they got a message asking if they would like to collect all the naughty magazines the new owners found under the floorboards in the back bedroom. That was my bedroom and they were my magazines (I was a teenage boy so please forgive me) my parents made me go knock on the door and collect them. This video reminded me of that shameful day 😂. Oh, and this was like 20 years ag

Aw, Molly, you could hear how nervous you were in your voice with the first house. So happy everyone who answered the door was so kind. Very lovely gesture.

Genuinely respect to you for your courage and respect to the cameraman for not filming the owners without their consent

so cool she remembered your mom. this is one of the coolest things i’ve ever seen you do, molly. i take the long way to work fairly often, so i can drive by my childhood home. for years, i’ve dreamed of bringing the people who live there now pictures of the way it was before and how many happy people walked along the floors. this video really gave me the confidence to go ahead and do it. thank you.

It is so special that the last house had the people you sold the home to and that they still remembered you! ❤

Elton is so cute! At your childhood house I think Elton really liked the woman & her cheery voice, his tail was wagging so hard.
This is such a special moment for you Molly.

Oh wow, this was such a lovely thing to do! I can't imagine how much bravery it took to work up the guts to knock on all of those doors. I'd be so anxious. But on the other side, I would love to be on the receiving end of a visit like that. It just feels so special.

This randomly showed up in my youtube shorts, so I know nothing other then what I just saw in the video.
But I have to say: “What a brilliant and wonderful idea to do this. I am so happy for you 2 of the 3 new residents were home and reacted so wonderful‼️”

That is so sweet of you to share that with total strangers to you. Now they have a small history of their houses past. God bless.

This is a very sweet gesture 🥰 My 100+ year old childhood home doesn't exist anymore. They tore it down & put up a modern duplex

I bought my neighbor's childhood home, and it is my favorite thing when she brings over old pictures or stories of the house. It makes me feel tied into their history. How wonderful of you to share your history with the current residents!

This is such a thoughtful idea, I would’ve appreciated a gift like that with my whole heart! I’d also probably leave the memoir with the home whenever I left, for the next owners to read. Molly, you never cease to amaze me with how kind, genuine, and considerate you are as an influencer. You influence your audience to be kind, genuine, and considerate as well and that is the BEST kind of influencer. Thank you Molly for sharing this intimate moment during publishing your memoir (huge milestone!) with us.❤ I’ve watched you for years and so I can’t wait to read it!

I am glad you got to back and visit your old childhood home.

When I was ten I moved out of one of my childhood homes. When I was a teen I was in the neighborhood of that home to find out the current owners were selling it and it just so happened they had an open house that day. I was able to walk around the house again and see my old bedroom I once shared with my sister.
