I used to think that my extreme hunger would lead me from restrictive eating (anorexia) to binge eating. Really, it was just my body responding (quite naturally) to deprivation and starvation, almost 'forcing' me to heal and rediscover life beyond the eating disorder 🔴 SUBSCRIBE:    / @hannearts   (or become a channel member for additonal perks! youtube.com/channel/UC2lVd74TAaIv4Cj4uZKPohA/join)

During my Ana recovery I initially ate about 3x what I normally would’ve but it helped me to regain that essential weight and help my brain to start functioning properly again

This short was exactly what I needed to see at this moment in time. I have struggled with anorexia for a while now and I am now in recovery and getting better. Your videos are so helpful to me on my journey and recently I have been feeling awful about occasionally overeating and really beating myself up about it. This reminder that relearning hunger and fullness cues is a part of recovery was exactly what i needed ,thank you so so much.
