I think every club finds it tempting to sign a guy who can guarantee you at the very least 20 goals in the season. Issue is, he's 37 and due to how famous he is, he's probably going to have a bigger presence in the dressing room than any manager. I mean, most players in pretty much every team grew up wanting to be like Ronaldo and Messi, so it's only normal. This obviously can be seen as dangerous, because when you buy a 37 year old you're not going to want to play him every match, and we know Ronaldo gets angry at this. A legend of the game that is looked up to by every young player getting angry at the manager? Not good and can harm the team.
However, if things go well, then yeah, having a guy like Ronaldo in the team will only make things even better. If things aren't going well, then having Ronaldo in there might make them even worse.
