I've played skyrim many times over the years, and the same thing always happens; I get bored. I never had that with Oblivion. I WANTED to close the oblivion gates, I WANTED to finish the main quest, I WANTED to explore the world and all of its secrets. Oblivion was lightning in a bottle.

Graphics wise, Skyrim is better. And probably gameplay. Storywise? Oblivion hands down is way better.

Oblivion got me through some tough times. It's such a simple game you can run it on a laptop so when I had to work away from home and live on trains and in hotels it was a companion. Such a great game
