Just be careful, speaking from personal experience, you can pass these irrational fears to your child. There's nothing wrong with being cautious but you shouldn't always be anxious about everything.

He is getting so tall! My toddler, also 2, is refusing to sit in the carts now. She’ll wander in front of me too and won’t watch where she’s going most of the time😂

I feel you with worrying about eyes on you and the judgement in stores. I've had to stop giving a f#$* because my toddler might not be in a good mood and up for shopping, but we need things. Also, it's not a fancy steak house..it's Target.. if they don't like it .they can leave. This being said I do make a point to have toys and snacks on hand for him. My anxiety won't allow me to let him to walk around in the store so that's a blessing..he's only asked once and I said no and he fussed but I ignored that and offered a snack 😂
