haha yeah i'm not endowed and i refuse to ever be and nobody has pressured me into it as i'm afab, i did not want to do a mission, and i'm not married nor probably ever will be. my brothers got endowed right before their missions. they have to wear garments.
honestly i plan on quietly stopping to go to church once i finally move away but yeah

Personally don't wear my garments because I was sexually abused growing up, and have body dysmorphia as well as a severe eating disorder, so wearing them was causing me to have panic attacks, and I had stopped leaving my house entirely, because I was afraid of having one in public. I believe in most LDS doctrine, but it's not a perfect formula, and different people have different struggles. No one is perfect, and everyone will always judge, but at the end of the day your relationship with God is entirely personal, and if you pray about it and ask, he'll give you personal revelation for your own situation, and the strength to overcome the cruelty of others. Jesus said the most important commandments, were to love God, and to love one another, don't let all the other Bullshit get in the way of that❤️

I once heard a story while in the Mormon church about a woman who wore a tank when in the privacy of her own home, but one day she accidentally answered the door that way and it was missionaries and she was mortified. I’m an exmo from the UK and I swear the church is taught differently in Idaho and Utah. Super weird places. It also use to bother me how we always labelled what kind of Mormon you were. The term Jack Mormon use to bug me. Never understood why watching R rated movies made you a Jack Mormon. But that was maybe my own pet peeve. Glad I left!

I think the whole garment thing contributes to Utah's porn crisis. Boys see a girl in a tank top and goes crazy cause a bare arm in Utah is unholy.
