Itβs funny because Tarkov was also marketed as slow and tactical. But that was before the competitive fps guys stated playing.

This checks all the marks for me. Tarkov is just pure deathmatch, and full of sweats trying too hard and loot goblins. In GZW you can actually squad up with a random and not get shot by them. This makes it feel like Ghost Recon or at times like Squad where you meet randoms in the field, help them out they help you and overall a good time.

The good thing is that the quests actually pay you pretty decent, so if youre still in tier one traders, your quest payouts will generally cover more than your kit at the time. Which is awesome.
I haven't gotten far at all yet as I am about to reach level 2 traders

I am really really having a lot of fun with GZW. A lot. Its definitely not comparable to Tarkov. It definitely takes inspiration but its just basic things. Its very chill and very very addicting. When I stop playing for a couple hours I just want to go back to it.
The only issues are the terrible bugs and server errors but aside from that its so enjoyable.

I have a few small complaints about the game, 1 the server crashing, caused me to loose some loot so that sucked and 2 the Enemies taking multiple mags just to finish one, It took me 3 mags of 7.62 (Iβm may have missed a few shots like out of 90 like 15 shots) but still it took a lot of bullets to down one enemy

It's a great game, I love the gameplay loop even if it is pretty simple right now. It really reminds me of arma more than anything else. I do prefer the combat of tarkov but the optics are amazing in gzw.

This game is VERY Arma 3. Surprisingly well optimized (if it isn't, you need to upgrade your PC.). I'm on a ryzen first gen 1700x and 3090 with 16gb ram and I really don't understand the performance complaints.

If youre having performance issues, turn reflections off, the water in the rice paddies causes serious performance drain
