In case anyone is wondering, Tasmania Berlin was actually one of the most embarrassing team in the Bundesliga due to their solitary season in Bundesliga being one of the worst in history. They weren't supposed to participate in the Bundesliga as the representatives of the capital city, but Hertha BSC were disqualified for the financial troubles, while Tennis Borussia and Spandauer SV decided to refuse due to the lack of capability for competing in the top-flight football. The DFB's decision to include Tasmania was also hit by a serious time-constraint issues as it was only confirmed just 2 weeks prior to the start of season. They would go on to become the worst team in Bundesliga with the fewest points (8), fewest wins (2), fewest goals scored (15), most goals conceded (108), among the others. It's very ridiculous to judge this club being the worst team in Bundesliga and even worse than Derby County, when they had only 11 points and 1 win in 2007/08 Premier League campaign.

What's interesting about the Gladbach Dortmund match is Gladbach came into the final matchday tied on points with Köln but 10 goals behind on goal difference. Given that Köln were unlikely to drop points against St Pauli, Gladbach's only hope was for a massive 10+ goal win - which incredibly they pulled off. Unfortunately Köln won 5-0 so in the final table they were tied both on points (48 each) and goals scored (86) but Köln conceded 3 goals less (44 vs 41) and because of that they won the title. It would be the last time Köln or Gladbach would win the title.
What's crazy is this wasn't the last time Gladbach tied with points at the top of the table but lost on goal difference. In 1984 they finished the season tied with Hamburg and Stuttgart on points (ironically also 48 points) but Stuttgart won on goal difference.

More info: Gladbach scored that much against Dortmund to snatch the title from FC Cologne on goal difference. But Köln eventually won 🏆
