I live in payne springs,10 minutes from eustace, that is the absolute worst town to go through. Most people you talk to here in east Texas will tell you to avoid it at all costs😅

If you use maps to drive anywhere, an alert will pop up if maps detects a speed trap. Pretty useful

The Y is very simple. Revenue generation. There was just a big article not very long ago. How one small town built a brand new building from the money they bring in from fines and fees. And what about that other small town down south somewhere that actually had tanks. Not sure what he was gonna do with the tank but the small town I believe 1200 people was near an interstate. They patrolled the interstate illegally because they didn’t have enough population to have jurisdiction over the interstate. They stopped people in their driveways. They performed public strip searches And gave massive fines to people for doing very minor traffic infractions. This is nothing new and they do it because they get away with it. The police chief is friends with the mayor and the mayor over rules the city council and there’s no police oversight board so therefore it’s a good old boys club in every small town in America. Look what happened in Marion, Kansas, and that poor 98-year-old woman died from the stress of having her home and business raided by the police. I’ll because a woman who had a DUI and drove with a suspended license for years and got away with it. Wanted a liquor license for her restaurant. Therefore she rallied all her friends to conspire to shut this newspaper down, because they had evidence of her misuse of the system, and they had actually decided to not publish it. They went out of the county to get a warrant by a magistrate judge, who didn’t know any of the background, because they knew the local judge would not have approved the warrant. And the warrant was based on lies. It’s everywhere because no one hold them accountable.

Heres the thing when a small town has to many cops they get bored or dont feel like they are doing there job so they bother people the standerds for a cops reaction is lower u call a cop a pig and u will get stoped and asked qestions i love in a small town and thats how its alwasy been

I drive through Eustace all the time, and matter a fact last weekend I got pulled over for no reason 😂 he was riding my butt and I didn’t know he was a cop so I sped up to switch lanes in front of the car beside me and he pulled me over and said I was going a little too fast 80 in a 75 zone, like bro
