Make up not blending well can be due to reasons like :

⁃ dead skin cells sitting in skin causing uneven texture & tone

What can you do ?

Follow a proper skin care routine as per your skin type , skin concerns. Skin should be hydrated and oils must be put under control.

⁃ use a mild gentle face wash for morning & salicylic acid based one for evening if you have oily / acne prone skin

⁃ Make sure you exfoliate 2-4 times a week ( SA based for oily , acne prone skin , glycolic acid based for dry pigmentation prone skin ) based on your skins tolerance

⁃ Use a prescription strength retinoid ( to improve the skin cell turnover & address acne , enlarged pores , signs of aging . ) under the guidance of your Dermat.

⁃ Don’t skip your sunscreen and make moisturiser your best friend. Getting a suitable one for your skin is very important

⁃ Use specific underye creams if your underye skin shows finelines , dark circles ( the most problematic area for make up . Fine lines & wrinkles can spoil your make up game )

Treatments :

Acne scars , enlarged pores creat uneven texture and interfere with that smooth finish . So even out the texture , you can get :

⁃ co2 laser
⁃ MNRF
⁃ RF skin tightening
⁃ Fillers
⁃ And can top these up with PRP ( pro as a stand alone cannot do much. But when you combine it with any of these procedures , it will enhance the results.
