📍 Unterrothorn Zermatt, VS

🚡1️⃣ Ab Zermatt mit der Bahn nach Sunnegga, danach mit der Gondel bis Blauherd und ab Blauherd bis Unterrothorn

⚠️ Wir haben die Wanderung mit dem 5-Seenweg kombiniert, dies braucht aber eine gute Kondition. Im Sommer ist zum Unterrothorn nur eine Bahn in Betrieb, auch das Restaurant beim Unterrothorn ist geschlossen

🥾2️⃣ Ab Unterrothorn geht es erst bergab bis ihr zur Verzweigung aufs Oberrothorn kommt

🥾3️⃣ Nun geht es stetig etwa 400Hm bergauf, bis ihr den Gipfel vom Oberrothorn erreicht
🗻 Eine wunderschöne rundumblick auf die Walliser Alpen erwartet euch auf einem der höchsten Wandergipfel Europas

🥾4️⃣ Zurück nehmt ihn den gleichen Weg, wobei ihr diesen auch bis Blauherd verlängern könnt

📍 Unterrothorn Zermatt, VS

🚡1️⃣ From Zermatt by train to Sunnegga, then by cable car to Blauherd and from Blauherd to Unterrothorn

⚠️ We combined the hike with the 5-Lakes Trail, but this requires a good level of fitness. In summer, only one cable car operates to the Unterrothorn, and the restaurant at the Unterrothorn is also closed

🥾2️⃣ From Unterrothorn, the route first goes downhill until you reach the junction to Oberrothorn

🥾3️⃣ The route now climbs steadily uphill for around 400hm until you reach the summit of the Rothorn
🗻 A wonderful all-round view of the Valais Alps awaits you on one of the highest hiking peaks in Europe

🥾4️⃣ Take the same route back, although you can also extend it to Blauherd
