We had inline 6 diesel engines from Toyota on the flightline in the eighties/nineties for Aux power.

You forgot to mention how Toyota got that first engine design. They invaded the Phillipines and stole the GM stovebolt engine design, shipped it back to Japan and used it well into the turn of the century.

You forgot to mention that Nissan rejected the Yamaha engine because they had just made their L series so they took it to toyota and they used it instead
