FATS MATTER
.
I believe one of the biggest contributors to the downfall of our collective health, is the plethora of industrialized seed oils that we consume. If you are struggling from any type of health issue, chronic illness, or are struggling to lose weight, swapping your fat sources is the #1 thing I would recommend.
.
These factory-made oils are not only cheap and unnatural, but have many toxic effects on your brain, your gut, your cardiovascular system, and your overall metabolism.
.
The βhateful eightβ you should stay away from are:
.
β Canola
β Corn
β Cottonseed
β Soy
β Safflower
β Sunflower
β Grapeseed
β Rice bran
.
These oils are found in nearly every packaged and processed food, so I encourage you to get really good at reading your labels! Theyβre also ubiquitous in restaurants, so I recommend enjoying food at home whenever you can.
.
The healthiest fat sources are the ones that humans have been consuming for centuries. Swap out the toxic seed oils for things like:
.
ππΌ Grass fed butter or ghee
ππΌ Beef tallow
ππΌ Pork lard
ππΌ Duck or chicken fat
ππΌ Virgin coconut oil
.
Our bodies need fat in order to thrive, but it matters where that fat comes from. Make the swap today, and give yourself a chance to heal. π

Yes - If you are going to be consuming a shit ton of calories using fats then at least make the right choices. You need healthy fats to survive. Just because theyre good fats though doesnt mean to overconsume them π
