your videos continue to be absolute gamechangers for me - so useful! I didn't even know about the standard focus mode in Blender and had previously been trying to awkwardly hide and unhide parts to see obscured areas.

You don't need an addon for this. Just search the keymap preferences for "local view" and uncheck "frame selected".

Pretty cool, I usually do Shift + H to hide anything except what I'm selecting, same for edit mode, hopefully it also work in edit mode

I select part of model or face or whatever and hit DEL on keyboard...view focus on it and now i turn view arround this area like its middle of point for spectating camera... or somethink like that... so im not sure for what good is this in video? Hide object just i press H ...

Idk because I haven’t used it but I feel like I’d get more annoyed at the ctrl-F method, I’ve never had an issue with the / method personally so it’s a case of no need to fix what’s not broken. Still handy for those who want that extra control though, can’t deny that

Do you know of any add-on that makes the movement through 3D space in Blender more like Catia? It's more intuitive than Blender, whit only the scroll wheel and right click you can move around, and you can quickly shift your focused by clicking the middle mouse well

I am actually wondering, how the interactions of independent addon developers and Blender itself look like. I mean, somebody creates a great addon, that basically everybody wants to use. I genuinly improves Blender, also recognized by the Blender foundation. What makes the Foundation not implement that functionality by themselfes into the next Vanilla version of Blender? Is it nothing but the respect for their community?

😳 thank you!!! I was just complaining to my friend who was watching me model something two days ago that the view keeps changing every time I hit / to isolate the object I want to view. This add on sounds perfect.
