I agree with you that he has many sociopath tendencies. I have heard that people who know him personally think he's charming. Some of the voters like that he's plain spoken and not afraid to offend people but if they were to listen to what he actually says and not how he says it, that is the very reason I dislike him intensely. He makes my bullshit meter go haywire. Can't stand it when people lie to my face like that.

There is an interesting interview here on YT of one of the producers of the reality show "The Apprentice". He explains how they created this Trump persona for the show (he wasn't like he is now before that), and that he uses the exact same persona to run for office. Some people seem to be unable to tell the difference between reality and a reality show on TV...
