Hi everyone! I just finished a project that turned into a short 1 minute film! As usual this was done in Blender 3.0 using the amazing Cycles engine. After struggling with a different (and expensive) 3D software package for the better part of the last two years, this project completely convinced me that Blender is the superior program, at least for my workflow! Blender is faster and more stable and handles instancing and volumetric fog and video textures like a boss (AND IT'S FREE!)

I should also add that 95% of all the sci-fi mechanical bits and pieces you see in the video come from the awesome and totally FREE Blender asset pack "Gadgets, Gizmos, and Greebles" by the Original Gangsta modeler Chris Kuhn. As for the Astronaut, he's the generic one you always see online, which I bought from cgtrader.com. The rubber duck is from Sketchfab. Smoke assets are from the Maestro Ian Hubert's smoke pack. The music is cyberpunk_trailer which i got from Audiojungle.
