Landlords have got to keep a close eye on their tenants. Especially if the landlords are living in London and the tenants are in Sheffield. Loafer had to install Hive programmers, so the landlord could keep an eye on the gas consumption and control the timing parameters. Coz the tenants would take liberties, run the heating 24/7, 365 days per year. Windows wide open, heating on, in summer??? Had a word with him. He's a good bloke. He doesn't want to serve notice and evict his tenants. He doesn't want to sign on to a Faustian Pact and have tenants who are perhaps less deserving in his properties, whilst SERCO guarantee payment of all costs incurred, even including malicious damage. Question being? Who runs SERCO? Who allocates the the money? Who ultimately who pays the taxes for running this scam? Rant over. Cherry Pistmass.

Christ my first flat has a venner time clock and I paid by the hour for 3 rads, the flat on the other side paid the same rate for 7 rads 🤔 but I knew how to rig it along with the gas meter and electric meter. He thought he was ripping me off lam

I went to a fault where the boiler was tripping the circuit last year in a HMO, when I got there the flex from The boiler went below into a locked safe and the programmer was inside 😂 only the landlord could set the heating times

Mine loses connection for no reason, leaving the hearing on full blast overnight, or off when it should be on!
And it is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to their customer service team!
Literally have to trawl through online ‘tips’ on the app then eventually get the option to send an eMail! Which is not responded to the next damn day, with ‘try X’ which you do, but it doesn’t sort it, so have to email back again... wait another 24 hours, only for them to wrote ‘try Y’

Turned into a 7 day VERY slow conversation!
I gave up and hit YouTube and one of the fixes I stumbled across worked.
But it STILL drops out now and then, and ALWAYS if you remotely turn off the heat when out etc, or just hot.
Pile of sh*t. Wish I had stuck with my old school Honeywell

The first flat I lived in had no heat at all so using a superser in the winter was fun watching the place sweat with water vapour & drip from the ceiling ..
