the namer was not built as an ifv, it was built as an apc, and as such, its main purpose is to protect the infantry inside of it. thats why the ingame version was only a prototype and never entered production (the one in service has a remote controlled 50 cal)

The damn thing weighs more than the T-90M but has less armor than the Ariete… brother…

Namer IFV is not only heavier than many MBTs, it's also heavier than the heaviest soviet heavy tank that ever got into service. (Only IS-7 was heavier)

another thing that’s important to mention, since the suspension where designed for the whole weight of the merkava, removing the turret meant that they also had to redesign the suspension to compensate for the weight removal of the turret.
But instead of redesigning the suspension they just up armoured the dam thing
