If they somehow made a icl rangefinger line that was backwards compatible with the z mount, id love that. The zf is really missing more compact lenses.

I think a range finder style body is a real possibility. Except it will likely be apsc sorry. After the zf and z6iii the next logical step for Nikon is a new apsc body with the expeed 7 processor at a 1k price point. Nikon is set to go after the x100vi market. They have all the pieces in place: flexible picture controls downloable through the cloud, auto upload cloud service for pictures in the works. Make the body stylish, add in some new selectable picture controls, release a silver version of the 24 1.7 as a kit, promote the whole film simulations available through the cloud aspect.

If the Zs is real, I'd rather it be a very compact, fixed lens, full frame instead of a interchangeable system.
Even if it's APS-C I'd take it if it's fixed lens ultra compact. Something for everyday encounter instead of something for a photo project like the Z f.

I wouldn't mind APSC as long as they don't scrimp on features. VR, Expeed 7 focusing, and viewfinder that can be EVF.

Ohhh my god! I hope they don't do it. I can't spent more money on cameras. After ZF investment and all the Ricoh GR I have it, I don't know which one I should say good buy to have one from Nikon 😢😅

I had a Nikon S3 2000. Extraordinary build quality. I heard they found the previous machinery and workers to make these cameras. They also made the reissued SP rangefinder. I would love a reissued F2 film camera. I don’t want some cheap digital camera.
