I grew up having a drag queen for babysitter. She was an awesome drag queen I actually saw on two of her shows as an adult. This is in the 70s early 80s. He taught me just to call everybody sugar baby or sweetheart hear it now as almost a 50 year old woman. I love everybody I don't care as long as you treat me right I definitely treat you right lots of love from his auntie Kiki

Thank you for the clarification and taking the time to educate. As someone who does not deal with gender dysphoria like you do, I do however support what you are saying and appreciate your tone in educating rather than condemning.
I am personally disappointed in many of the comments this video got as they were unhelpful at best or just plain mean at worst.
Many people don't realize the trauma that can be attached to a trans person's dead name, including stuff outside of being trans entirely like physical or emotional abuse and I am proud of you for standing up and saying something Rose.
No one should dead name a trans person to get a reaction out of them or shame them period for any reason and I really wish people would stop.

It really does boil down to that trans persons indervidual experience, and them being okay with their past. How they prefure to be talked about. I know one girl who when talking about her childhood she avoids gendered tearms, honestly its second nature for her already and unless you know she's trans you wont pick it up.
Personally I've lived my life and I've learned alot, and i have a tun of stories i love sharing so im okay-ish with people saing she used to be a guy or back when she still thought she was a guy. Just dont use my dead name and don't misgender me in the current day.

I am so sorry for these comments Rose, you are absolutely gorgeous! I honestly appreciate this video as it educates people who don't know much about trans people and let's them know what it acceptable and what isn't. I hope you'll all be able to respect her for who she is.
