Local Chinese groceries sell Chinese sesame paste by the jar. Stock up and make this sauce for hotpot nightโit pairs well with both meat and veggies!
Measurements below:
1/2 cup Chinese sesame paste
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup minced green onions
8 cloves garlic, minced
2โ3 tbsp minced cilantro
2 tbsp sugar, more to taste
1 tbsp chili crisp
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 tbsp sesame seeds
Mix everything together, season with a chicken stock cube, and add 1/4 cup of water to get a silky consistency. Dip away

From what I can tell just by looking: I see Chinese sesame paste/ (you can get this in most Asian sections of a grocery store or you can go to an Asian super market.) Lots of garlic. (Yes raw garlic itโs very taste but put as much as you like.) Green Onion chopped Cilantro chopped Chinese Chili oil (again say Asian section of a grocery store has it.) Sesame oil (same thing go to a Walmart or Kroger lol) She put in a little bit of soy sauce Salt, sugar and chicken bouillon. Thatโs new to me at least lol ๐ ( I donโt think you need it considering how flavorful all these ingredients already are but maybe she likes it more power to ya ๐๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ) You can also add black Chinese vinegar, So what you are looking for is a melody of flavors. Nutty, Spicy, Salty, Sweet, Rich, Unami, Acidic, the herbs gives it a bit of freshness. Then dip away! Hope that helps
