When you can't decide between a Martini or a Springfield

I can only dream buying one of these someday. There's something to single shot rifles that are appealing regardless of how impractical they are for self defense and only for recreational purposes. The reloading of these vintage weapons are so therapeutic~

Ammunition ejection is something that always fascinates me. My brain just doesn't want to understand how it works. But it's amazing that the old things still work. I'm really grateful that there are people who look after their things. thanks for showing

Welcome This is an old-style rifle called the Taniri in our country. Forty years ago, because we could not find its original ammunition, they machined its barrel with a lathe and made it fire with 12 CL hunting rifle ammunition. This is thanks to the huge steel of the tube.

Owning a socket bayonet for the Peabody makes watching this all the more interesting. Such a neat rifle with a neat design.

This reminds me of the British Martini Henry Breech Loading Rifle

Peabody and Sherman were probably the ones responsible for the name of that rifle😂

"Quick, Sherman, to the Wayback machine!"......(Some of you all may be too young to get it.)

I guess in Mr. Peabodys spare time he forgot to mention that he invented his own rifle. (If you know what I'm referencing, your childhood was amazing)
