Chapter titles are fun, but only if they actively add to the book. If they're just there to be there I'd vastly prefer numbers.

As a reader, I honestly do not care much/don’t have a preference.
Numbers are like leaving the title blank, which is totally fine by me because I’d still know it’s a continuation to the story.
Having chapter titles can sometimes be foreshadowing, background clues for something hidden, or straight-up a spoiler. It depends on how well they’re used and how much complexity you want to add to your story.
I’d say if they don’t add much to your story or are not well-thought (in order for them to not be a full-on spoiler), leave them out.

Calling chapter titles "juvenile" sounds pretty silly imo. Im a big fan of chapter headings tho.
