I saw Ted Nugent in the 70s. He came swinging out on a rope wearing a Tarzan outfit. A great spectacle and an excellent show. Like them or not.

Derek St. Holmes IS One of the KOOLEST KATS I EVER met...opened for him 3x back in late 80's/ early 90's...He told me "You have a Great Voice" .

When I first heard Stranglehold in 75, I really didn't think he could top it as a tour-de-force type song. I still have that vinyl album Then he put out a live version of Great White Buffalo on Double Live Gonzo, and I found out how wrong I can be. Still have that on vinyl, too. Rock on Sweaty Teddy.

My brother used to run into him occasionally about 25 to 30 years ago when we lived in TX. Was really big into Y2k prepping but a he'll of a nice guy.

At one of his concerts, in between songs, Uncle Ted starts playing his guitar. He's doing things to his Gibson Byrdland no human is allowed to do. He's making this guitar do things no one is supposed to recover from. Then he stops and goes over to the microphone and says, "I'd like to see some disco A$$hole try that sometime."

You know why so many people and teams use it to an entrance theme? Because the song has balls and grit to it. Everything you want a good Rock song to have. If this plays in a room and you've never heard it before and you leave, then you don't like Rock music. That song is definitely one of Ted's finest masterpieces in the studio.
