I've worked my ass off for the last 10 years, paying down my debt, and have achieved an 820-825 credit score. Being on Social Security, I still can't afford a damn house! Unless real estate makes a drastic adjustment back to where it actually should be, I'll never be able to afford a house for myself.

Why they're not shouting about it? Because it benefits people. That's why.

Medical bills still have to be paid. If it's a large burden on the borrower, it cannot be unburdened so easily.

…. On its surface it’s good, but the thing is those medical bills determine a buyers ability to balance income to required payments, also debt to income ratio… so while taking it off is ok it’s face good, the likelihood of default is higher since it gives a false sense of higher buying ability.

Am bless to not have medical debt and retired military Tricare exempts me and the family from having to have obamacare. I just pay for a secondary to pay the excess.
