So I have this problem where some example uses nomareru instead of nomeru in the potential form example. I'm aware that you have to conjugate the nomu to nome to make it potential and noma to make it passive, but I am still confused since some examples use nomareru as passive, also since ichidan verbs don't change except godan, it's really confusing. So here's my question: is it still necessary to use nom(e)reru to potential or just nom(a)reru?
