The sedges I planted at my parents' looked so bad, after 3 years I removed it all. :( forget which kind. This drought is the pits.

It looks like you have trimmed the end tips back on each Carex when planting - I’m putting in some sedges into an area now (June / July, and unusually hot). Would trimming back the tips help reduce transplant stress, or would that add to the transplant stress?
