2004. I had just separated from my husband and was caring for my two daughters but I reached for the bottle. Bad things were happening and my escape was music and booze. Your voice just took me away from it all while allowing the important release of emotions. The Grace was on repeat. Then I saw you at a bar in the Shwa and decided I needed to pull my s… together. This is what I would have told you the day I met you if the anxiety of meeting you hadn’t made me fumble over everything. You’ve been an important part of my life for over half my life. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! ❤

I drove from Florida to Washington state, cross country trip and with all the beautiful things, places, and roads I drove and experienced, I listened to a mix of all your music almost every mile. It made everything that much more memorable. Shortly after that trip I got to see you in Bellingham, WA and that was incredible. Thank you very much!

2006 at the beginning of my final year of high school in the UK. In all honesty it was an accident hearing in the water I am beautiful but it changed my life. I’m constantly in the top 1% of listeners worldwide and to cap off the city and colour love, my wife walked down the aisle to northern wind. You’ve really been a figurehead of my life since my mid teens and I thank you for it❤ we came to watch you just prior to the lockdown in London and can’t wait to see you again.

I think I started to really listen to your music in 2011 when I was 13 after a sibling showed me, and I listened to the "Bring Me Your Love Album" in one sitting. I remember being obsessed when "The Hurry and the Harm" was released. It inspired me to make music and I still wish that I could write and sing like you. Thank you so much for creating such beautiful work.

Was letting this play on loop,, so many great songs. ✌💟
Your music had always stayed real, and I genuinely appreciate that you seem to hold true to yourself.
Thank you for the countless meaningful songs you have created, and as being one of the many that your music has helped and reached to the core, thank you. 🙏
Edit: Not sure how this much time has already passed on this journey, but I'm so glad and appreciative that you're still creating and releasing music. Thank you again. 🙏

About 15 years ago I first heard Alexisonfire on the radio in Dallas, Tx. Ironically, I found out the singer's name was Dallas. Then I found out about City and Colour and the 2nd song I ever learned to play on my acoustic guitar was 'Comin Home' and have been a huge fan ever since! I've seen City and Colour twice live in Texas now. I still listen on a daily basis. Thanks Dallas for all the great music!

It was around 06 for me, heard an Alexis song and that led me to your independent music. I'm sure many fans tell you how much your music has meant to them and I wish I could thank you for the many years of showing me how music can actually make you feel. That feeling is irreplaceable and I thank you so much for sharing your soul. Truly one of a kind talent.

Bring me your love made me start playing the guitar. Particularly constant knot. I covered a few of your albums on stage opening up for my band. Your music has guided my marriage ever since. We love you and we thank you so much for all of the years that your music has brought us together over and over again.
