One of my favorite aircraft is the F4 Phantom. My father was in the Air Force and they had a saying. "The F4 is proof that a brick can fly if you get it big enough engines" !!!!😮

I think the F-4 phantom II holds the record for the loudest sonic boom in the USA. It was flying at 100ft AGL when it happened. I have very fond memories of getting to sit inside one while I was in the Civil Air Patrol at Portland Air National Guard 142nd FIG.!

I don't mind the phantom. She's a lovely little bird and very nimble. I'm happy they are still in the air somewhere. I'm sure an ex military pilot would aquire a couple for airshows and just to fly her around.
