guys remember hot topic changes their clothing depending on trends. thats why in the 2000s everything there was emo, scene, grunge, goth etc because those were the trending styles back then.

You guys have to remember, hot topic is an ALT fashion store, not just emo/grunge only. It’s for all alt styles.
Edit: im sorry u guys r so mad ik lilo and stitch and stuff isn’t really “alt”, but things like Sanrio and hello kitty sometimes can fit into “kawaii” or “cutecore” type styles (both r awesome btw :3) and yea ik those were really the only 2 back in like the 2000’s im js saying, things have changed and im not really used to it either but its something we gotta deal with sadly :[

Funny story- so one time we had a foreign exchange student come stay with my family for a few weeks over the summer. He was so nice and friendly and very curious about American culture. One of the things he wanted to do during his stay here was go to popular stores at the mall. (Stores that were popular for teens during the time.) my family never really went to the mall so we asked my cousin what stores she recommended we take him to. She recommended Hot Topic. 😂 so my family (my parents and all of us 7 kids) went into the store and it was not what we expected at all
