Snuka off the Cage was the jumpstart to the Vince McMahon era. Hogan wasn't even there yet. That highlight was played on every VHS tape for the next decade

It's a damn shame that Jimmy Snuka never had to face any real consequences for what he did to Nancy Argentino.

Jesse said Jimmy was a phenomenal athlete. He didn't call himself Superfly for nothing. I grew up watching wrestling in the early 80s and Superfly Snuka was the most acrobatic wrestler I have ever seen. Behind Jimmy another very acrobatic wrestler was Kevin Von Erich.πŸ˜…

So many wrestlers that were unbelievable athletes who never got the recognition they deserved. I know if I fell 12 ft I'd be dead.

When I hear Jimmy Snukas name the only thing I can think of is he got away with murder and Vince McMahon helped do it.

A lot of people don't remember that originally he was Jimmy 'The Fly' Snuka and then he came out with an interview with an announcement and was simply that his new name was Superfly and I still recall McMahon's face like OK I'm not going to argue with that?

I remember watching Snucka and Ventura wrestling each other in Portland during the early 1970s before either of them were big name wrestlers. Same thing with Adrian Adonis, Roddy Piper, Bushwackers, Rick Martel, Gino Hernandez, Jay Youngblood and later in 1980s with Billy Jack, Curt Henning, Matt (Doink) Borne, Brett 'Hacksaw' Sawyer, Tom Zenc, Kevin (Nailz) Kelly, Brian (Crush) Adams, Scotty (Raven) the Body and Dynamite Kid. PNW used to be hotbed for upcoming talent for decades.
