I am a small business in the US and bringing in supplies has not only been crazy expensive but incredibly slow on the shipping side. My heart hurts for both sides! I am so sorry!!

This is so sad. I live in Germany but most of my Etsy customers are from the US. That’s why I work with a US-based print shop, otherwise I’d have to close my business for USA.

I quit my business. I was producing frozen waffles in the U.S., but my packaging came from overseas. To sell each box at $7.99, I would’ve had to absorb so many costs — it just wasn’t sustainable. No one would have bought them at that price. I’m sorry that you are going through this.

US here, I'm so sorry. I loved the Canadian business I've bought from, they've also had to suspend shipping because of tariffs. I'd hoped there miiiiight be hope from the courts but de minimus isn't even being considered.

I have ceased to sell to the USA. I am a dual citizen living in Tasmania. I really feel for you and your business. I just know that no one is going to pay 80 dollars tariffs on a 18 dollar embroidered tea towel.

I feel for you, as someone looking to start my business(American), this tariff BS is making it extremely difficult to even launch. I can;t import raw materials without HEAVY duties, that then raise my base price to the point it shrinks my customer base...I've spent 3 yrs planning, learning and developing my work so I can start... I HATE this gawdawful country and the current idiots who run it.

Hi Tina, its me Roxie. Sorry about taking so long to get back to you. I understand all the hoops you have to jump thru. I’m so sorry. I do get a lot of complements on my scrunchies at work. I love them!! I usually try to coordinate the colors to my shirts that i wear when i go out! I really do love them!! If there is anything i can do to help jus let me know. I am not in production with my small biz…yet. However, I am in the States and ordered some boxes from the UK. The order total was already pretty high due to international shipping… I was prepared to pay that. Then I got an email from the company, there would be another 59-209 due to UPS upon delivery. I had to cancel the order. I just cannot absorb that cost right now. It’s such an embarrassment to be a US citizen right now. The current government is a joke…a flipping joke.
