Scenes like this were what bugged me about Sasuke and Naruto. Sasuke is clearly the more skilled, effective fighter. But Naruto was able to brute force his way through everything. Don’t get me wrong, it fits his character and gives perfect context to why Sasuke was always so frustrated and unwilling to accept that Naruto was equal to him or better. It’s not that I think it’s bad writing or anything. I just wanted him to get a win once in a while where he didn’t just wear his opponent down.
