Recently I’ve seen a lot of cute little cubs being advertised for sale and marketed as a status symbol or a commodity like “look at me I have a tiger” or “look at me I work with a predator that could kill me”
Honestly a lot of it has to do with ego. These animals get big and need enormous habitats and they eat a lot and demand all your attention! To the ones who do work with big cats properly, have you ever seen them go on holiday, travel or anything of the sort? These are not pets, spread the word because these are animals and not commodities!
