the journey back home when everything felt right as you were shooting. these digital savants don't realise, their instant gratification from access to a viewfinder screen results in mediocrity, majority of the time. with your favourite film for the conditions, favourite speed of that film aligned with it's complementary developer is a real feeling , everything coming together from an intuitive understanding of your craft. I'm never disappointed too much if i return not having shot much, i know it just wasn't to be that morning, day etc.

It used to be pulling them out of the tank, but I've started printing, and there's nothing like skipping the scan and seeing that first full size print appear in the developer tray!!
