For me, as a Russian person, there is a big difference. But I understand you perfectly. The Russian language is quite complex.

People, it’s called declension. And it is common to many languages.
It’s not that Russian has “more” words, every word, I mean every noun, has 6 (or 7) cases...

I love Russian's grammar not only because of this, but also because you can switch words in sentences and it will still have the same meaning while in English it won't make any sense

I have been learning Russian for 3 month and they are actually very simple to understand, because they are there in different context it is easy to use them. Plus, it contributes to the diversity and the beauty of the language and such features do in all languages

I’m learning Russian right now as best I can with Duolingo and so far I’m doing ok, but every time I think I’m getting it there’s yet another way to say say one thing in several different ways depending on who, what, where, when and how many of whatever there is lol. Like I’m trying to learn about plurals right now and I’m confused but it makes sense at the same time haha. So far I really love this language!
