I don’t fish for stocked stream trout often but today it was very beneficial. I sight fished schools and I could see the eat and reaction of the trout on different flies. On the first school of trout today , probably 20 trout, it took 5 fly changes before the first eat. It’s not often that I see this many wild fish in one school. It’s always so educational to me to watch how the trouts mood depicts what fly the trout will eat vs what they refuse. Also, it still amazes me how a trout will eat a fly and spit it out with no indication from the tippet sighter. It’s just an inhale and refusal in less than a second. Great video, thanks!!
