I didn't spank..Today I'm grandma to five children. No spanking.

A lot of people are commenting on how scared Mom looks. I see it too. That speaks to something we don’t often think about: If someone has no qualms about hitting a small child, what else are they capable of? It’s pretty scary to think about. And it’s hypocritical to boot! How do parents expect their kids to learn not to hit and hurt others if they’re sending that message by hitting their own kids? Imagine how confusing that would be if you were a little kid just starting to understand right from wrong.

Does anyone else think Mum looks scared. Shes barely moving, looks at Dad but tries not to move her head. As if she knows speaking out will result in consequences for her.
