No, it's not "the most moral army in the world", nor does it need to be. The goal of an army, of any army, is to protect its country, not do a "we are saints" marketing campaign. The more you try to look good in the eyes of others, the more others will try to make you look good. So don't do this

I haven't heard of many armies who drop leaflets asking civilians to evacuate the area, but the IDF does.
Then there is roof knocking, a tactic invented by the IDF to secure the evacuation of innocents out of constructions that are about to be demolished.
I believe it's not a competition, and even if it were, one could not assess who the most moral army is, to begin with, most modern armies have never been put to the test at all to examine their moral standards. An army must strive to be moral, and the IDF has been proving, time and time again, how insanely moral it is, and it has been doing so under the most difficult situations. Thank you, IDF.

I’m an Iranian-American Christian and lawyer, and I majored in history before law school (emphasis on antiquity, 20th century, and military history). Moreover, I’m a defense hawk with friends having served in every branch, nearly every position. And based on my decades of studying and experience: the IDF is arguably the most moral, ethical, and humane of militaries.
On some level, I hate that they have to be, because all the Jew haters in the world lie anyway, and say that the IDF are like the Nazis and other such blood libel. 🖕🏽those Jew haters.
