Necropotence is a 3 mana "draw" as many cards as you can or are willing to pay life for. But you get them at the end step... and its a repeatable effect. 3 black mana....dark ritual seems really good here... no autographs please. Even better use dark ritual to cast a first turn desolation.

I run a storm list, necro is really good, however necro imo is best in the mono black control shell that just grey merchant's you (easier to do than tendrils). It's always satisfying to beat necro, especially T1 necro, so satisfying, main issue is they are lacking protection. Which is why i don't run it, 3 mana for a card that doesnt do anything other than tap you out? oof not good for a storm list for sure
