I said all along that this was their hope. To many of us living past 70 nowadays impacting on what was originally planned for paying state pensions in the beginning.

What would they do if we go on strike? Parents would then have to take care of their children instead of us. They are relying on the fact that when you love your family you don't harm them. The Labour party is far more cynical than I ever gave them credit for.

Know one has mentioned the drying of clothes, bedlinen etc., yesterday I spoke with a lady nearly 80 yrs who lives in a flat...not an over 55 complex.....or warden controlled...she was saying that she dries her clothes on a drier like a line in her spare bedroom does not possess a washer/ drier only a washing machine, To dry they usually take 2/3 days, then after ironing they go over the radiator in her bathroom to thoroughly dry......... No heating ........her clothes will remain damp especially in winter...
I will leave you with the consequences.
PS the occupants of most flats are not allowed to dry their washing outside.

I am all for it 😊 I have seen first hand the excruciating pain a loved one go's through with late stage cancer , pain meds don't work !!!
