The context is Beware of false prophets , just like today with the fake healings, blessed holy water, prayer clothes and they want these liars are always asking you to send them your $$ , so the heavenly slot machine in the sky can bless you... However they get rich and you learn error… I would hope Christ would tell us there are fakes out there …And these people according to Matthew 7:21-23 were NEVER known by Christ, not known ever ! Where does it say that you can lose salvation? The context does not even imply it.

I personally believe in eternal security. If by the power of the spirit you are saved, then by the power of the spirit, you are kept....jude talks about that. Christ saves you 100%...not 75% then leaves the rest up to you to keep....or else one can boast. The spirit also SEALS us until the day of redemption. That does not give me liscense to go out and sin, but this doctrinal truth about the character of the Holy spirit actually motivates me to live holy unto Him. It encourages me and gives me such an appreciation for the POWER of the Holy spirit in the believers life! Praise God.

I also do not believe the verses they brought forth imply that one can lose their salvation... led away with the error of the wicked does not =unsealed. And I truly believe according to scripture and I am confident that the Spirit will lead us in all TRUTH and point out our error. His sheep know his voice.

You read Ephesians 2:8,9 that clearly says it’s not by works then you refer to Paul writing about the fear of being a castaway, in which you imply it’s works by bringing the flesh into submission. Which is it boo boo? God gives a new heart but he doesn’t give you a new flesh. The new heart has a function like the holy place did in the temple. If God saves you then your heart changes because he takes up residence in it now you’re a new creature. Roman’s 7:18 is clear. I’d say you’re in a precarious theological place. You must start with the heart. I have been on both sides of this issue and realized that you cannot understand it until you understand the temple make up . That changes everything

I know this is a "Short", but if you are going to emphatically teach you can loose your salvation, you should say/list how it's lost.
Keep in mind folks, this bunch believes in "Baptismal-Regeneration"...& not "Saved by Grace alone, through Faith alone in Christ alone"
My only caveat to "OSAS" is, I do consider (it's only a consideration) Michael Heiser's teaching of one only needs to believe/keep believing. "When/if you no longer believe Jesus Saves... what saves you?"
