Let me guess. If the next game take places on modern days. Its gonna be year 2019-2022. Instead of covid, its Bubonic Plague. About 700+ year after 2nd plague pendemic/2nd macula awakening in game lore.
I would love too see Hugo and Amicia incarnation in modern days. See if they do the same mistake or actually Solved the problem with Amicia Hints that she left behind.

I feel like if there was a third game, Amicia would be like a guide like there would be a whole organization prepared for the macula and she founded this organization, at the end of the game, she want to go out and try to find where the next carrier will be

lmao in the past the protector died while the career lived. in later times the protector lives (amicia) while the career dies (hugo). so in the future either both survive or both die.

Noooo why, I can't believe it's over forever now. I thought the games would continue as a series with amicia and hugo. I ended the game a few hours ago and can't believe hugo is dead. I just want this series to continue as I know it, it's so sad, a new game with that new direction will be interesting but feel totally like something different
