I LOVE INITATORS, but im ok if its a Sentinel too, it would make sense if the vines are gonna be used to slow or trap enemies.

Surprised I haven’t seen anyone mention the silver rose that was being studied in that one room. Maybe that’s a connection since roses and thorns go hand in hand with each other.
Also while thorns do make more sense for a sentinel as traps, that is deadlocks whole entire thing with nanowire, her gravnet especially. I’d be surprised if they did something so similar so soon. An initiator could lean into other thorns motifs, like being blinded by thorns scratching your eyes, which albeit dark, is a cool concept.

Hear me out, vines will be able to make a wall that does damage when touched, create a trip which attaches to anyone who steps on it and works like the fade seize until broken, and then maybe be able to attach to an enemy and drain some of their health which can then be given to a teammate or used on yourself. For the Ult, idk maybe similar to my idea with the trips it would have an aoe like the breach and fade ult but would attach to any players caught and hold them in a fade seize like state for the same amount of time as a kj ult detain.

I would imagine the vines are like a better harbor ult, so 100% initiator. Here’s the order for everyone:

Gekko - Initiator
Deadlock - Sentinel
Iso - Duelist
