Trinity is the Union of three divine persons.
Unlike the unity between members of a human family
which is imperfect, unity between members of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit is perfect. This means they are in constant communication with each other and they are always in agreement with each other. This also implies they do not contradict each other in speech or in action. Thus though they are three persons, they function as one being.

This actually has a great point for humam thinking, see humans need answers for many complex things,and what easier answer than the concept of God, that's why kids and superficial minds will easily accept and understand it. Any other answer for creation and many other thing need more of a complex explanation.
