The creators of white knuckle added new items to the game, these items drastically change the way items are looked at, these new items are called, "Artifacts". There are currently only 5 artifacts added into the game:
1. The Spear: Which is a Rebar that INFINITALLY recalls back to you acting like Thor's Hammer, also granting some insane boost of velocity in certain directions.
2. The Glove: Which grants Low Gravity to the user for around 30 seconds
3. The Remote: Which allows the user to place down a "handle" of some sort anywhere in open space that can be grabbed onto, there are 4 Uses that slowly recharge, and last around 20-30 seconds.
4. The Translocator: Uses the "Blink Eye" Item and instead makes it have UNLIMITED uses, with around a 20 second cooldown
5: The Time Dilation: You are able to retrace/recall you steps and move backwards in time recovering health as well. This item is limited since when used a ton, and the broken shards finally close in, you are unable to use the stopwatch.

I think remote is top 1 and top 2 and three is clock and glove in order, the translocator is very situational and the spear u can only use for height, which is kind of bad for the last region of abyss.
the remote recharges faster than the orb despawns, so u can get yourself back up, its 30s for despawn and 20s recharge, although, in certain cases clock is better, but if you dont fall, you can close gaps quickly with the remote

Once the full game releases, I do think the clock will just get weaker with time, considering that, in comparison to the glove (or any of the other 4 artifacts for that purpose), it only gives you 30 seconds of rewind *with no way to recharge it*, no cooldown, no passive regen, 30 seconds and that's it for the clock
For only crossing the abyss, 30 seconds of rewind is more than enough, but considering the devs said that the abyss is the halfway point of the campaign, I doubt that it'll be enough for traversing another 2-3 regions

The glove is so nice, use it sparingly and you can cross the whole abyss without needing to recharge it. Activate it for your jump and quickly put it away after.

Translocatot can teleport you inside small denizens like barnacles or bloodbug, which instantly kills them and recharges it.
