plant protein has fiber (which reduces absorption of the amino acids) and it also has less amino acids than animal protein, so it would seem intuitive that 1.6g of animal protein will build more muscle than 1.6g of plant protein. however, plant protein is overall the better choice, for ecology, health and ethics. maybe 1.6g of animal protein corresponds to 2.0g of plant protein.

Will you look like Jay Cutler or Chris Bumstead eating plant protein and lifting weights? No. They have great genetics for building muscle and they also got extra help if you know what I mean. But truth be told you can put on quality muscle. You just have to eat a lot more. And it will cost you more $. Plant based protein powders are very expensive.

I just started watching your videos because I saw one where you made a few good points about Paul Saladino bias commentary. But right away Iโm noticing the same behavior with an opposing view on your side. As a general personal rule I steer away from people who hand pick information to make a point.

I donโt know what is your agenda here . But. It sounds like you are trolling or playing dumb. For a guy who seems to be an expert. On the topic, Iโm sure you are familiar with.the nutritional content of the different plan based foods. Take me for example, 98 kilograms. At the ratio you mentioned 1.6 grams per kilogram is almost 160 grams. This would require me to save almost 100% percent of every meal to stuff like tofu, chickpeas garbanzo and lentils, make me suficiente in several aminos considering the amount of food that represents. Iโm not saying it is impossible but itโs. A shit life to have that diet and suspect it would have consequences long term. And this is at the 1.6 ratio. I f the study you are referring to is the one I read.,It was a range between 1.6 and 2.2.

Even omnivore protein researchers like Stuart Phillips are saying they got this wrong. Using the digestibility numbers of only one food at a time and so on.
